It's Been a While...

Although not much has happened....Coldplay concert KICKED ASS!!!!! Ben Folds concert KICKED ASS!!! My trip back to the Dairy State was okay...got trashed...thanks Mr and Mrs Keen (mwuahaha!!!) Nick will be here in the morning with the crew...Amy, Wendy his mom and little baby Jasmine who I'm psyched to see...I miss that kid and I wish I could see her grow up. Anywhoo, back to my boring life in my boring room. Oh, by the way, for anyone who likes to read, I suggest The DaVinci Code...it's KICK ASS!!! (seems to be my adjective of the day) Meh....

Ummmmm....

I don't really have much to write about. My mini vacation is nearing and I'm really looking forward to it. I have discovered we have AWESOME seats...floor level about 34 rows in, which is a lot better than I can say for many other concerts I have been to. Then on Aug. 9th, I am going to see Ben Folds with my sis.....I love concerts. Dave Matthews Band has yet to re-schedule their Toronto date...I'm not holding my breath and I am scared of the disappointment I may face. When and if they do re-schedule, you can bet the farm, chickens and all, that I'll be there with my sister. Anyways, Sayonara....I have some Star Wars Battlefront to kick ass in.

I Hate Texas.....

So, I found out about a week ago that Dave Matthews Band has cancelled their Toronto concert date because they are playing a concert in Texas on the same night they were supposed to play here.....WEAK. What I don't understand is that they announced the Toronto date more than a month ago and only a week ago they said there were "scheduling conflicts"...MEGA FUCKING WEAK. So, needless to say, I'm pissed since they are my ultimate favourite band of all time ever. On a lighter note, I am going to see Coldplay in Montreal (about a 6 hour drive away...ROAD TRIP!!) on August 3. Good thing we have hook-ups in Montreal so we don't have to pay for accomodations. I am going with a friend of mine I've known for about 11 years....should be fun. Really looking forward to the mini vacation. We are leaving Tuesday afternoon and coming back Thursday evening. Anywhoo, I gotta jet moto. Outie 5000.

Well....

I have received sad news today. A friend of mine from high school passed away in a car accident. It's so weird....the last time I saw her was at a party in May and you look back and think that she had no idea that she would be dead in less than 2 months..... Life is funny and way too short to take for granted. I know this is sooo cliche but live life to the fullest and don't take one day for granted. Appreciate everything you have and make sure the people that you care about know it. Life is too short to worry about the petty stuff. No one knows when their time on earth is up. Wow....

Alrighty, onto business. Sorry I have not blogged in a while. My recent promotion at the good ol' Home Depot has been keeping me busy....ahhh....not sure what else has been going on....pretty much just work. It seems like I live there and Nick can contest to my constant absence.
